One of the reasons I am so drawn to
Aston Martin is that this is so much more than just a "car"
company. Each Aston Martin built is a hand crafted work
of art. Nothing, at least to me, illustates that point more
than the history of the V8s during Aston slow years and
boom years of the 70s and 80s.
I will try to do this as much justice as I can. For a more
detailed analysis please visit my links pages for other
sites. You see, during this time Aston produced the V8 in
a dizzying array of configurations. The Aston Martin Owners
Club has designate each as follows. Please forgive me if
I screw some of this up. As you can see below it can be
difficult to distiquish what series a particular example
fails into. Plus I should have kept better notes when I
took the pictures. I have been doing this since 1999 and
my picture collection is getting pretty big. But identifing
the examples never gets easier. If you see that i have misplaced
a picture please drop me a note. I have yet to seperate
out my Vantage images from the regular Saloons. I'll do
that soon.
